Went for a ride today with a few mates to the recently re opened Uki Pub. Those in our neck of the woods may remember it burnt down about 2 years ago. Anyway they have rebuilt it bigger and better. As it had only just re opened and we arrived at lunch time the pub was packed with bikers and day trip drivers so the kitchen was a bit unprepared and ran out of certain meals but not to worry there was still plenty of beer. One of mates had just sold his speed master and upgraded to a black 2011 Tbird so we now have 3 Tbirds in our local flock. So for all you Nth NSW or SE QLD bikers the Uki pub is back open and a worthy destination for a days ride. Cheers. Dan

Looks like a great place to go. Shame it was so rammed. Like the white and blue bike in the middle ... it's similarish to mine

Nice trio!
Also love what looks like a red Torino in the background.
I had a 1970 Cobra Jet in the day! (429 C.I.)

The ride may be fun, but in the Great Scheme of things, it really is about the destination! John 3:16

Not a Torino..... It's either a XA,XB or XC Ford Falcon Coupe. Can't tell from the distance.
One of the rare but famous Aussie Muscle cars.
As seen in the Original Mad Max Film staring a young Mel Gibson...

Looks good Dan, We'll be riding through there on the Brissy ride at the end of October. Might need to test the beer taps..

Smitty,
I thought the tail lights looked different. The Torino was an upgraded Falcon. Your XA, XB, XC is apparently an Aussie designation.

WOW very similar.... Our XA XB and XC were all the similar bodies, just different front ends, head lights and tail lights etc..
Here is our XA

XB

XC

To tell the truth I didn't notice that rust bucket parked out the front of the pub even though it is painted dog dick red
XA, XB or XC who cares??? ...............there is only one Aussie muscle car for that period of time

Went past the pub this afternoon Dan on a ride to Kyogle and Nimbin, looks very smart and there were quite a few bikes out front.

That era was great for cars. I had a minging Mercury Montego ... virtually no paint, no usable suspension and drove like an aircraft carrier. I loved that car. Tell you how rough it was I bought off of the old Rent A Heap Cheap set up in Huston Tx. Imagine it ... they didn't even want it.
